Contemporary Films is proud to announce that it is now able to offer material from the legendary New York company, Italtoons.

The collection is a treasure-trove of feature-length and short animation films. Here are some highlights:

Bruno Bozzetto's animated feature films are renowned worldwide for their inventiveness and style - West and Soda and VIP, My Brother Superman are fine examples, though the jewel in the crown of this collection is surely the astonishing Allegro Non Troppo, a breathtaking parody of Disney's Fantasia.

STORYTIME: Award-winning children’s stories, each about 25 minutes long, from Jazztime, set in Harlem in 1919, to the Emperor's New Clothes, an adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale. Email us for details about the full collection of 21 films.

MR. HICCUP: 39 3-minute episodes about Mister Hiccup, a little man with a normal life, a normal job, a normal house, and only one problem: the hiccups

MR. ROSSI: A series of 12 episodes, each 20 minutes, which chronicle the mishaps, small triumphs, and adventures of Bruno Bozzetto’s character Mr. Rossi and his dog Harold. There are also numerous Mr. Rossi feature films available.

Bozzetto also directed a series of live-action shorts - email us for further details.
